Feed a Rainbow is an installation that creates a physical relationship between the virtual world (the internet) and the real world.
A soap bubble machine is connected to a laptop. Our software allows the laptop start and stop the machine. Another part of the software reads the Rss feed from Flickr, in particular the Rss feed about all the images uploaded with the tag "rainbow".
Whenever someone in the world uploads on Flickr an image with the tag "rainbow", a projector throws lights on the wall and the bubble machine starts. The light and the bubbles combine to evoke the idea of a rainbow.
